Oswald Sanders  “A Discipleship Journey” (ADJ) written by Pastor Dave Buehring is a discipleship training class for those who are willing to pay the price.  A few years back, I found myself closer to lukewarm than hot.  Not so much warming a pew, but not setting it on fire either.  I wasn’t close to where I needed to be in the Lord, but what I did have was the love of Jesus and the willingness to pay the price involved.  48 lessons latter and my life hasn’t been the same since.  Yes, I said 48 lessons.  It’s a big commitment, but if you ask the close to two hundred who have graduated ADJ here at SCC, they and I will tell you, it was well worth it.  Now I’m helping to teach ADJ and my passion for this class is only growing as I see lives transformed and set on fire for the Kingdom of God.  If you’re new to your faith, or if you know that you’re not where you should be in your relationship with God, or maybe you simply want more of Jesus, then “A Discipleship Journey” is the class for you.
